CNR-ISMAR organised the Marine Litter Collection Campaign “On The Field“ using the Seacleaner Protocol. Marine litter monitoring was performed on the beach, and the material collected was cataloged and counted. Students used several items of the collected marine litter and built a big “plastic whale” in their classroom. The activity was disseminated during the World Water Day 2022 by high-school students who prepared and screened a short film titled “Rivers in spring”, showcasing the results of the beach litter collection.
